(Me, Adelyn, Keith, Jen, Chad, and JR)
We started the day walking around the park. We mapped out the path we wanted to take to see the animals most important to us. The park is absolutely HUGE so we couldn't see everything.
We saw some bats...
We went on the carousel...
They had a little petting zoo and we fed some goats...
We saw a Walla-roo...
We posed with a rhinoceres...
We climbed through some trees...
We saw some lions...
I just thought this one was funny. How many Griffiths does it take to figure out where we are???
After exploring on foot, we walked down to the tram that drives you around the safari portion of the park.
(The overlook)
The tram was so much fun. The line was decent, we only had to wait two trams to get on. We piled into one bench and we were off. I took a lot of photos but a lot of the animals blend into the surroundings so you can't see them that well. Dang that camoflage.
(JR and me waiting for the tram)
Can you see the Cheetah? There's actually two cuddling next to each other.
We also saw giraffes, rhinos, a bunch of horned or antlered animals like gazelle and deer, flamingos and other birds, wildebeast, plus many more.
(JR waving to the animals)
Before we left we stopped by to see the gorillas...
And last but not least, we fed some ducks. Chad wanted them to eat out of his hand and surprise... he got bit..
It was a wonderful day, we all had so much fun!
