The first stop was to feed the sea lions. There were a ton of them and they were very happy and active.
We were very excited for the holiday show, Polar Express. It's a 4-D experience where the movie was 3-D and then they'd blow cold air on you when the train was going fast or snow would fall from the ceiling when it snowed on screen. The show lasted about 30 minutes and we all loved it.
We walked through fresh water aquarium and Chad liked seeing "his fish" aka cichlids and a sucker fish. I really liked looking at the turtles.
We saw the show with the sea lions and it was my favorite part of the whole day. This guy did a little pre-show act to entertain the audience and he was hilarious!! I laughed so hard. They had two sea lions with their trainers who danced and played around. They also had a little otter... who knew they could train an otter?!?
We also went to the dolphins show. I really liked this one as well. They combined the normal jumping dolphins with people who would high dive into the water, trapeze over the water, and fly around over the water. They also had pilot whales in the show. Chad's favorite part was when one of the trainers rode on the pilot whales head around the pool.
We walked around to the rest of the exhibits. We saw sharks...
Beluga whales...
Elephant seals...
Penguins...
And also ate lots of good snacks...
Adelyn had a lot of fun playing in the touch pools...
She did so well all day that she got to have her face painted! Nana and Papa even let her get glitter too!
A cute pic of Chad and me...
Last but not least, we went and saw the Shamu show. Since it was Christmas time they had a special holiday show with singing. It was really neat, unfortunately it was also dark so I wasn't able to catch a lot of photos. Adelyn tried to stay awake for it but it had been a long day.
It was such a fun day and I'm really glad we went.
