Winter Storm 11

So all week the weather people have been predicting...the BIG STORM!!!

This cold air was coming and we were going to have snow, snow, snow.

Get out those studded tires and chains everyone,

go to the store and stock up on everything,

freak out!!!!!

So I had a Biology midterm on Wednesday.

The storm was supposed to hit on Wednesday.

I prayed and prayed for school to be cancelled for 2 more days of precious studying time.

Woke up on Wednesday: no snow (insert sad face here)

But on the way home, during my 20 minute wait for my bus... SNOW!!!

(you can insert another sad face but this one trembles in the cold)

So during the night and early into the next morning, it snowed.

We officially woke up with about 2 whole inches of it.

Chad's school closed, along with every other district

- except mine.

I stayed home anyway because the roads were too nasty and I lack snow-driving skills.

By 9 ish in the morning, it looked like this

The clouds went away and it rose above freezing.

There is no more snow out there.

But the weather people predicted it would hit again, dun dun dun!!!!

Nope, clear skies today, no clouds in sight.

It is however really, really cold out today. Brr.

All in all, Winter Storm 2011... I'm disappointed in you.
